Hotel Check-in

Made easy with your Charm Tour voucher

Stay · 07 / 23

Your accommodation on this trip is Hotel Century Hills (ホテルセンチュリーヒルズ, Hoteru Senchurī Hiruzu), set right on the grounds of Fukuoka Century Golf Club. Being on the same grounds as the course — within walking distance of the clubhouse and first tee from your room — it's a golf hotel optimized for stay & play. Even better news — this Charm Tour package includes both the hotel stay and your golf rounds, so there's nothing to pay separately at check-in. Here's the flow from arrival to check-in.

First of all — there's no extra payment

The Charm Tour golf package already includes your hotel accommodation and golf round costs (green fee, cart). So there's no need to pay again for the room or golf at the front desk. Present the hotel voucher issued by Charm Tour and all your bookings will be confirmed.

¥
It's all paid — just present the voucher

Your accommodation and round costs are included in the package price you paid before departure and are already settled. At check-in, all you do is present your Charm Tour hotel voucher at the front desk. If you're separately billed for the room or golf, don't pay — show them the voucher.

What you do pay out of pocket

Personal use not included in the package is separate — the room minibar and room service, personal massages, the shop and vending machines, and the local accommodation tax (see below). Just settle these items at checkout.

This is what the Charm Tour hotel voucher looks like

Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive a hotel voucher like the one below. Save it on your phone and simply show the screen at the front desk. The booking number, your name in English, the hotel name, the stay dates, and what's included are all laid out at a glance.

Accommodation on the course grounds — the arrival route

Hotel Century Hills is in Itaya, Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture (朝倉市 板屋), about 35 minutes by car from Fukuoka Airport. Being on the same grounds as the golf course, there's no need to travel separately — the clubhouse, restaurant, and natural hot spring are all within walking distance.

The true value of stay & play

The biggest benefit of staying at a golf hotel is zero travel time. Even for a dawn tee-off the next day, you just walk from your room to the clubhouse. Whether you arrive late at night on a delayed flight, or want to soak in the natural hot spring again after your round, it's all handled within the same grounds.

Front-desk check-in, step by step

Under Japanese law (the Inns and Hotels Act), foreign guests without an address in Japan are required to provide their nationality and passport number and to submit a copy of their passport. The same applies at the Century Hills front desk, so simply go along naturally with the process: a staff member briefly takes your original passport, copies it, and returns it right away. Since payment is already settled, the flow is simple — just the five steps below.

  1. Arrive at the front deskSay "I have a reservation (yoyaku shite imasu)" and give the booking name in English. As a golf hotel, the clubhouse, restaurant, and hot spring are all on the same route within the building.
  2. Present the Charm Tour voucher + passportHand over the hotel voucher saved on your phone together with the passports of everyone in your party. The booking number and included items on the voucher confirm both your stay and round schedule at once.
  3. Fill in the registration cardYou'll be given a card (宿泊カード, shukuhaku kādo) to write your name, address, contact, and length of stay. Fill it in neatly in block capitals.
  4. Receive your key cardYou'll get your room number and key card. Since the package includes accommodation and golf, there's no extra payment, and you'll only be advised of items requiring separate settlement (accommodation tax, personal use).
  5. Confirm the next day's round detailsConfirm the tee-off time, the clubhouse meeting time, and the breakfast start time, along with the operating hours of the large bath (natural hot spring) and the restaurant. At a golf hotel, be sure to get these round details.

The accommodation tax in Asakura (Fukuoka Prefecture)

Fukuoka Prefecture charges an accommodation tax of 200 yen per person per night if the room rate is under 20,000 yen, and 500 yen if it's 20,000 yen or more. This tax is separate from the package price and is sometimes collected in cash on site, so having some coins ready is convenient. Confirm whether it's included at the front desk.

i
Line up the next day's round in advance

At check-in, confirm the tee-off time, clubhouse meeting time, and breakfast start time together. With a dawn start, the breakfast hours may not line up, so it's good to ask whether a boxed meal (早朝弁当, sōchō bentō) or a simple breakfast substitute is available.

Making use of early check-in and luggage storage

If you arrive before check-in time, or are playing a round on your arrival day first, leaving your luggage at the front desk is the most reassuring option. As a golf hotel, they're used to storing golf bags and suitcases; take the claim tag and present it at check-in.

  • If you arrive early → just say "Could I leave my luggage here?" and that's enough
  • If you have one more round after checkout → leave your luggage and head to the clubhouse light
  • Keep valuables, your golf watch, and passport with you (don't put them in stored luggage)
  • Ask the front desk whether your golf bag can be stored at the clubhouse or forwarded to the next course
🗣 At check-in — a phrase in Japanese
Chekku-in o onegai shimasu. Yoyaku shite imasu.
"Check-in, please. I have a reservation."
Bauchā desu. Gorufu mo komi desu.
"This is the voucher. Golf is included too."
Ashita no sutāto jikan wa nanji desu ka?
"What time is tomorrow's start (tee-off)?"
Nimotsu o azukatte moraemasu ka?
"Could I leave my luggage here?"

Check-in times, the accommodation tax, and which items the package covers may vary according to Hotel Century Hills and local-government policy. We recommend confirming the latest details once more via the Charm Tour voucher and the front-desk guidance.
