Five days, three nights, and a generous golf schedule of up to 27 holes a day. To enjoy a hot, humid course to the full, what you packed is half the battle. Run through this checklist before you leave and you'll be set in one go. You can bring your own clubs, or rent them locally.

Medication — a tropical-travel must

Anti-diarrhoeal·indigestion tablets·painkillers·plasters·cold-and-flu medicine·insect repellent·electrolyte powder (sports-drink sachets)·after-sun soothing gel. Be ready for a mild upset stomach from the sun, seafood or cold drinks and you won't have to sit out a round.

Not allowed in the cabin — power banks and lighters

Power banks and spare lithium batteries must be carried in the cabin (not in checked baggage). Put golf clubs, umbrellas, long umbrellas, nail clippers and the like in checked baggage. Mind the 100ml liquids rule too.

Check the airline's baggage rules (weight and extra golf-bag fees) against the flight you've booked. This package excludes flights (land arrangements only).
