On the morning of your round, the clubhouse is a quick walk from the resort. Nexus Golf has a pro shop, driving range, putting and chipping practice greens, lockers, and a golfers' lounge. Arrive 30–40 minutes before tee-off to finish check-in, pick up your rentals, warm up, and get your cart assigned — and you'll reach the first tee with time to spare.
From arrival to the first tee
- Check in at the pro shop / reception — confirm the booking name, the number of players, and the tee time. If anything (such as green fees) is settled on site, that happens now (cash/card)
- Pick up club rentals (if booked) — collect your club set and golf shoes at the pro shop and check the size and contents
- Locker / changing — change into golf shoes and store valuables in the locker room (ties in with Chapters 14 & 17)
- Bag → cart loading — leave your bag at the bag drop and staff will load it onto the cart
- Practice green / range — if there's time, warm up with some putting and easy swings
- Gather at the starting hole — head to the first hole according to the day's assigned course (color) and teeing-area instructions
At an overseas course, check-in, rental pickup, and cart assignment all take time. Arriving 30–40 minutes before tee-off is the most relaxed approach. The golf hotel is close by, but allow time for breakfast and getting there.
