Nha Trang & Cam Ranh Golf Courses Overview

Golf Day · 09 / 23

The Nha Trang–Cam Ranh region holds two signature courses of completely different character: KN Golf Links, a genuine dune links on the Cam Ranh coast, and Vinpearl Golf, set over the sea on Hon Tre Island. In one trip you can experience both 'a fight with the wind' and 'a round above the sea'.

Two signature courses, and one more

This guide focuses on two courses:

  • KN Golf Links (Cam Ranh) — Greg Norman design; an ocean-dune links running along ~8 km of coastal dunes. 18 holes par 72 plus a 9-hole 'The Oasis' for 27 holes. Strong sea wind and deep bunkers define it.
  • Vinpearl Golf (Nha Trang) — Hon Tre Island, IMG design (2011). 18 holes par 71, a scenic course with ocean views on every hole. Reached by cable car or speedboat.

Beyond these, the Cam Ranh area also has additional courses such as Diamond Bay Golf, so a 3-round-plus itinerary is possible.

Scheduling tips

Because the two courses differ so much, place KN Links on a day when you're fresh — taking on the wind and bunkers demands focus. Vinpearl, with its cable-car journey, scenery and family appeal, is best on a more relaxed day for higher satisfaction.

Caddies are mandatory · carts · etiquetteIn Vietnam a caddie is mandatory. There is no no-caddie self-play as on some Korean/Thai courses, and the caddie fee is usually included in the green fee (KN explicitly has a caddie-only policy). Caddies advise on yardage and lines, and KN shows precise distances via cart GPS. Have a separate cash caddie tip ready after the round. Follow fairway/green protection rules and pace-of-play, and notify the course or your agency of any tee-time changes as early as possible.

Yardages, par and hole layouts may vary slightly by source, and the playing routing can change by season. Confirm final details when booking. (As of June 2026)
