Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) sits about 35–45 minutes south of Nha Trang city, but it is only 5–10 minutes by car from the Cam Ranh peninsula's golf course and beach resorts. That makes it entirely feasible to land and play the same morning.

How far things are from the airport
CXR is a modern international airport in Khanh Hoa province, south-central Vietnam, with direct flights from Bangkok. After landing, your route splits broadly into two.
- Cam Ranh beach zone (south) — KN Golf Links, Radisson Blu Cam Ranh, Bai Dai beach resorts. 5–10 minutes from the airport.
- Nha Trang city (north) — downtown hotels and the Vinpearl cable car terminal. 35–45 minutes from the airport.
For a golf-focused trip, stay in the Cam Ranh beach zone; for city sightseeing, night markets and seafood, a downtown hotel is more convenient.
Arrival flow
After immigration and baggage claim, exit into the arrivals hall. Thai passport holders get 30 days visa-free for tourism, with no application required. If you have booked a round for the same day, plan your route so you collect your golf bag from the carousel first.

Grab / taxi
Fine with no or a single golf bag. Call a Grab at the designated pickup zone outside arrivals; fares to the city run on the app/meter.
Travel times vary with traffic. For a same-day-arrival round, leave at least 2–3 hours between landing and your tee time.
