After the Round — Settle & Tip

Golf day · 18 / 23

The last putt on 18 isn't the end of the round. Return rentals → settle the bill → tip the caddie → shower and change → scorecard and group photo → transport back all make one set. Knowing the order keeps the finish clean — and above all, don't forget the caddie tip.

Finishing the round
Finishing the round

When you finish, leave the cart in the designated return area. Hand rented clubs and shoes back to the pro shop; your own clubs are cleaned by staff and moved to bag drop. Give the cart a once-over for anything left behind — rangefinder, phone, sunglasses. The caddie often helps you confirm your club count.

At reception/pro shop you settle the tab on your locker number (rental, drinks, snacks, souvenirs) in one go. Green fee, cart and caddie fee are in your package, so there should be no extra charge for them — check the line items. Pay by card or VND cash, and keep the receipt. You return the locker key now.

¥
Settle & tip at a glance

Settle the tab at reception/pro shop by card or cash in one payment. The caddie tip is separate — not at the counter, but handed in cash directly to your own caddie. Suggested amount: 300,000–500,000 VND per round (≈375–625 THB), in clean 100k/200k notes, with a ‘Cảm ơn’. In a fourball, each tips their own. Don't ask the counter to add the tip to your bill — it only counts when it reaches the caddie.

  1. Return gearPark the cart in the return area; rentals to the pro shop; check the cart for left items.
  2. Tip the caddieHand your own caddie a cash tip directly, with 'Cảm ơn' and a smile (separate from the bill).
  3. Settle billSettle the tab (rental, F&B) at reception/pro shop by card or cash; return the locker key.
  4. Shower & changeShower in the locker room and change into spare clothes; mind the cold aircon.
  5. Card & photoCollect the scorecard and take a group photo by the clubhouse.
  6. TransportPick up your bag at bag drop and head to the hotel/next stop by vehicle.
  • Cart, rented clubs and shoes all returned
  • Caddie tip handed over (each to their own caddie, cash)
  • Tab settled + receipt collected + locker key returned
  • Showered/changed; valuables (passport, wallet, watch) retrieved from locker
  • Scorecard collected; one group photo
  • Final check for rangefinder, phone, sunglasses, etc.
  • Own bag picked up at bag drop, then board the vehicle
If it's a check-out day round

If you head straight to the airport after the final round, allow plenty of time to shower and change and load your clothes bag into the car in advance. Swapping golf wear for comfortable clothes at the clubhouse makes the airport and flight far nicer. If time is tight, tell us on LINE and we'll adjust the vehicle and route.

In a fourball there are four caddies. When the round ends, the rule is that each player tips their own caddie directly. If one person hands over all four tips 'on behalf', it's hard to be sure each got hers and it can cause splitting issues among caddies. The most natural moment is as you step off the cart at the 18th and she helps tidy your clubs — hand over clean notes with both hands and a 'Cảm ơn'.

i
Final sweep for lost items

Before you get in the car, double-check the cart, locker and halfway house for anything left behind. The most common losses are rangefinders, sunglasses, phones, power banks and caps. Counting the clubs in your bag with the caddie keeps it tidy. If you realise something's missing after returning to the hotel, message us on LINE and we'll ask the course.

The scorecard your caddie kept is a nice memento of the round. Grab it before settling up, and take a group photo by the clubhouse or against a signature hole. A shot with your playing partners and caddie together makes a fine memory too (ask the caddie first — most are happy to). If you have a next round, dinner or sightseeing booked, feel free to share the photos with us on LINE.

Check for double-charges before paying

When you get the bill, quickly scan that green fee, cart and caddie fee aren't on it again — those three are in your package and shouldn't be charged on-site. Just check the rental, drinks and souvenir lines match what you actually used. If anything looks off, ask the staff on the spot or snap a photo and send it on LINE — we'll verify right away.

How was your round today?

For anything — adjusting tomorrow's tee time, changing courses, booking dinner or a massage — message us in Korean or English at LINE @233uigab. We wish you a wonderful Vietnam golf trip — Cảm ơn!

Keep the settlement receipt until you depart; it's your evidence for any dispute or refund. If green fee, cart or caddie fee were charged separately despite being in your package, tell us on LINE at once — we'll verify and correct it on the spot.
