Da Nang Highlights & Suggested Itinerary

Da Nang highlights · 23 / 23

Da Nang's real charm is that it's too good a city for golf alone. My Khe Beach, the Marble Mountains, the Golden Bridge and cable car at Ba Na Hills, and the UNESCO-listed Hoi An Ancient Town all sit within a one-hour radius — perfect for golfers and non-golfers alike.

My Khe Beach

A long, gentle white-sand beach right by central Da Nang. Great for sunrise walks, a swim and beach cafes. Close to the hotels — easy to pop in before or after a round.

Marble Mountains (Ngũ Hành Sơn)

Five marble peaks hiding cave temples and viewpoints. An elevator makes the climb easier. A popular half-day outing.

Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge

The Golden Bridge held up by two giant hands, one of the world's longest cable cars, and a French-style theme park. Pairs perfectly with a Ba Na Hills golf round.

Hoi An Ancient Town

A UNESCO World Heritage site — yellow old houses, the Japanese Bridge, and rivers lit with lanterns and floating wishes at night. With evening dining, it's the trip's highlight.

A day for non-golfing companions

While the group plays, companions can relax at the hotel spa or private beach, or fill the day with a half-day Hoi An Ancient Town tour (ao dai photos, lantern-making), the Marble Mountains, or a cooking class. A separate car makes it easy to move independently of the golfers.

  • Golden Bridge / cable car tickets (book in peak season)
  • Hoi An lanterns at night (peaks after sunset)
  • Use the Marble Mountains elevator
  • Pre-book a car/tour for companions
  • Leave buffer time for the airport on departure day

Da Nang offers the best balance of 'half golf, half resort and sightseeing'. Finish your round early and spend the afternoon on sights and rest, and a short golf trip from Thailand becomes wonderfully complete. Enjoy your rounds!
